Paper:- Cotton paper also known as rag paper or rag stock paper, is made using a cotton linter or cotton from used cloth (rags) as the primary material. Important documents are often printed on cotton paper, because it is known to last many years without deterioration
The paper for this series of prints was also known as Laid Paper a type of paper having a ribbed texture imparted by the manufacturing process. In the pre-mechanical period of European paper making (from the 12th century into the 19th century), laid paper was the predominant kind of paper produced.
